
Sadoski's award-winning stage career began as an assistant to Mark Ruffalo, Mark Rosenthal and Mark Rosenthal in an Off-Broadway production of Kenneth Lonergan's play This is Our Youth at Second Stage Theatre. This was the beginning of many productions performed by the New York-based theatre company. He has been in numerous Off-Broadway and Broadway productions, as well being in productions at regional theatres. Along with Alison Pill, he played the role of Greg in Neil LaBute's production of the play Reasons to Be Pretty at MCC Theatre. It was an acclaimed Off-Broadway show that sold out. In April 2009, the play moved to Broadway and received three Tony Award nominations: Best Actor: Sadoski; Best Actress: Marin Ireland; Best Play; and three Drama Desk Award nominations: Best actor Best Director Terry Kinney and Best actor. 6. Neil LaBute credited Sadoski with the change in tone in Reasons to Be Pretty from previous plays. He wrote: "His thoughtfulness and good heart made it impossible to get back into something I've previously performed." My plays always have a dark ending. While I was of the opinion that gray was a real thing He showed me that there are many shades to life. He was the first Trip Wyeth character in Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities, for which he won an Obie Award (and a Lucille Lortel Award). After a sold-out Off-Broadway show in November 2011 The play was then moved to Broadway and was awarded the distinction of Outstanding New Off-Broadway Performance by the Outer Critics Circle. Sadoski was also seen on Broadway with Ben Stiller and Edie Falco.
