Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada and is American. She has released over 20 albums. DiFranco has released more than 20 albums. A feminist icon widely recognized as Grammy recipient Ani DiFranco is the mother of the DIY movement being one of the first artists to create her own record label in the year 1990. DiFranco's parents, Elizabeth (Ross), a previous student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Dante Americo DiFranco met each other while they were students at the same school.
